Of course, this kit is not holiday-specific and can really be purchased for any event at anytime of the year, whether that’s a birthday, special occasion or simply because you want to treat yo self!
BLITHE Stay Rejuvenated Kit
This lovely kit includes one full size Vital Treatment 8 Nourishing Bean (150 ml), a full size Pressed Serum Tundra Chaga (50 ml) and a mini pressed serum (10 ml). The kit is a Jolse.com exclusive, so grab one before it’s too late!
Let’s start out with the the Vital Treatment essence, which, as its name suggests, is packed with 8 nourishing bean ingredients (full list below) that are meant to rejuvenate the skin and improve elasticity. Formulated with 80 percent bean extracts, from lentil and black beans to carob and soybean extracts, this product is the ultimate boosting treatment for dull and rough skin. As you can you see by the product images, the essence is also packed with small capsules of Vitamin E, which melt upon application and provide great antioxidant benefits such as skin repair, hydration, and sun damage reduction.
The Pressed Serum is a great compliment to the essence. Packed with 60 percent tundra chaga mushroom extract, this serum is meant to protect skin from pollution and harsh climate while providing lasting hydration and nourishment. It also has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties, which minimizes visible signs of aging and redness.
The Vital Treatment essence has a fresh citrusy scent that is pleasant but not too overpowering. It’s a subtle fragrance that blends nicely with other products. The pressed serum, is also quite subtle. Since I’ve never used chaga before, I’m not too sure how to describe its smell… But I can say that it has quite a unique scent to it. It’s something you’ll have to discover for yourself! Overall my olfactory senses were satisfied, so no complaints from me.
The Vital Treatment essence is super easy to apply. Upon application, the Vitamin E beads melt right away and the overall sensation is quite soothing. The consistency is light, and absorbs to the skin really quickly, leaving my skin feeling smooth and ready for the next steps of my routine. Because of the peppermint oil ingredient, the essence also offers this really pleasant, calming effect, which I particularly enjoy after taking a hot shower.
I use this essence both in my day and night routines and have noticed that my skin doesn’t feel as dry, especially as the weather gets increasingly colder and dryer here in Seoul. It has definitely helped my skin stay bright and fully moisturized during the day. While I don’t have any wrinkles to attest to its anti-aging benefits, I’m still happy to use it as a preventive treatment.
The pressed serum was a real game changer. To be honest, I didn’t even know pressed serums we’re a thing until I tried this particular one by Blithe. When I first opened the package I was so surprised by the texture. It is brown, thiccc (yes it needs three c’s) AND gelatinous. Talk about a weird looking serum. It definitely took some adjusting to. When I first tried to apply it on my skin, I thought I could just use my fingers and forget the spatula that came with it, but quickly realized that wouldn’t work out. Turns out the serum is really that gelatinous, think a nice flan or pudding. You pretty much have to use the little spatula if you want to be able to scoop out a proper amount.
Texture aside, the feeling itself was surprisingly enjoyable. I thought I’d be turned off because of how jelly-like it was, but it melts and applies to the skin really nicely. The consistency actually makes it more enjoyable and offers a pleasant cooling effect. The best part? Your skin will feel SO moisturized with just a small amount, and won’t leave you feeling sticky. A little really goes a long way with this serum. And it’s so hydrating that you could actually use this as a moisturizer, which is what I ended up doing. FYI, I use the serum during my nighttime routine, and the next morning, my skin always feels super smooth and has an awesome dewy glow to it.
As mentioned previously, the Vital Treatment is jammed packed with loads of nourishing bean extracts to provide the ultimate anti-aging treatment. Some have antioxidant properties that provide nourishment, and others have moisturizing and revitalizing effects that give your skin a glowing, healthy-looking appearance. The product is also free of parabens, artificial fragrances, dyes and mineral oils.
