I'm a HUGE fan of Cosrx and BHA is one of my favorite actives for keeping my skin clear. I used to burn my skin up with Benzoyl Peroxide in drugstore products before learning from trial and error. There are natural and chemical derivatives of BHA. This one contains the chemical version, which is stronger and more stable than natural. (I personally love both for different reasons and needs) Since this is potent, please introduce this into your skin care routine slowly and patch test.

As a seasoned BHA user, I patch tested for allergic reactions and irritations to the base formula of this product. All clear!

I started using this every other day, but was impatient to ramp up. I have congested pores for the lovely summer weather and wanted to clear them out quickly. So after a week, I stepped this up to daily use. That was way too much. My skin started to feel a little itchy, which I know is the sign of mild irritation. So I scaled back to every other day and the itchy tight feeling immediately went away.

For the most part, I use this at night after my toner. It does a great job of preventing new breakouts from forming by keeping my pores nice and clean. Outside of hormonal spots, I have not had a blemish since I started using this.
