This is a nice moisturiser, it acts as a sealing step for all the products you put on your skin before. It is particularly good for oily skin, and does not make a difference for acne prone skin (in my opinion). You will wake  up with  less oily residue as you would with the rice one. Even if this one is more adapted to my skin texture, I prefer the rice one as it is much more brightening and nourishing and it just feels higher quality than this one. I use this one for the summer and it does it job but I won't repurchase as it is very expensive and doesn't make much of a difference.
