I bought this because I use AHA/BHA products daily and I want my skin to have a low pH before applying the acids. The cleanser has a medium strong scent of tea tree that disappears quickly. It lathers well and "naturally" (I did not feel there was  too much lathering agent in the product). It removes leftover oil and makeup/dirt well and leaves the skin feeling fresh. Because of the low pH the skin does not feel dry or stripped afterwards. I would recommend it as a very neutral cleanser for anyone who doesn't need/want a product with a lot of other functions :)
