This is a lovely tint! This is the first lip product I’ve tried from Innisfree. I bought shade 11, which was shown to be a deep but vibrant shade of cool red in the official ad photos. This tint has a sweet, candy-like scent. To me, it smells exactly like Aritaum’s Mirror Gloss Tint.

First of all, I will say that the color of this tint in real life is darker than what is shown in the official swatches… this shade looked like a very dark, vampy sort of red on me, which I honestly don’t prefer >__<;; it seemed a bit too much for my complexion. But, I’ve made it work for me by using this in a gradation instead, so the color is a bit thinned out. When I use it as a gradation, the color looks a little closer to what is shown in the promotional swatch photos.

Color aside, this is a really nice tint with a great formula, it feels moisturizing without being oily or sticky, and is very forgiving in terms of appearance on dry or chapped lips. True to its name, it lays down a bold, vibrant color. The color stays well and does fade a little after eating or drinking, but that’s to be expected. Much of the color still remains and it is very easy to reapply.

However, it has to be said, that on my lips, this shade wears off patchily, and it shows most especially because it is a dark color. It can look quite bad. I’m not sure if my lips are just in a drier state due to the cold weather, or if this tint has caused my lips to dry underneath the tint while it is being worn, but the color clings to any dry skin that may be on the lips and cannot be taken off, causing the patchy look. Because of that, I’ve had to wear the same tint the next day to cover the patches that didn’t wear off (even after eating and brushing my teeth), or a similarly dark lipstick that will cover the color until it eventually wears off. I’m not sure if this is just a problem with the darker shades (or because of the current condition of my lips), because I have read other reviews that said this tint in different shades wears off nicely and evenly.

In all, it’s a really nice tint that I like, I just wish that the color was more true to the promotional photos. I do intend on buying more shades in the future, I just hope the colors will be better and will wear off more nicely ^^
