This cleanser was recommended to me by a friend who loves it, and it's a good product, but not the best in my experience. The texture is gel-like and it foams when mixed with water. Rinses off nicely and does not leave any residue. When used as a first cleanser it takes makeup off nicely, except for waterproof mascara/eyeliner or lipstick. But when used as a second cleanser it can be too drying, even for my oily skin. Oddly enough, my mother who has dry/normal skin loves it. All in all it's a good product, but you should keep in mind these things when buying:

Pros:

-light texture, foams easily

-you don't need a lot of product to make foam (pea sized amount was enough for my whole face)

-lasts a long time (I've had mine for six months and still have over half left)

-takes makeup off (with some exceptions, like waterproof mascara)

-good pH

-good price point

Cons:

-might be too drying for people with normal/dry or sensitive skin (I am combo/oily and it still dried me out)

-might be comedogenic for some people (I get closed comedones very easily and this product did not help with that)

-contains ferments, which may be an issue if you have/are prone to fungal acne

I personally would not repurchase because my skin did not like this product and I can find similar gentler alternatives. If however your skin is not too dry/sensitive and you're not worried about closed comedones or fungal acne, this is a good cheap low pH cleanser that gets the job done!
