Dry body-skin girl here, so l've tried quite a lot of lotions in the past. I've heard a lot of good things about this lotion so I gave it a try. It's a good product, but doesn't quite live up to the expectations I had based on the raves I've heard about it.

First off, it's a pretty bottle and the pump works well. I appreciate that.

The lotion is indeed moisturizing, more so than other lotions I have tried, and definitely does leave my skin feeling much more moisturized. However, a downside to this is the residue it leaves behind, even with just a normal amount spread and absorbed into the skin. The lotion indeed absorbs, but it does not disappear into the skin or leave a comfortable finish. My skin feels slightly tacky to the touch. It's hard to explain, but I definitely feel some sort of residue left behind. It's not something I appreciate about this lotion :( I don't mind if a lotion has a bit of an oily residue, especially if it moisturizes this well, but this weird-feeling tackiness I have left after applying it I definitely do not like.

The smell is a light floral sort of scent, it's not bad but I'm not crazy about it. It feels like an older lady sort of floral fragrance, I guess a more mature floral scent. Unfortunately, this scent doesn't work well with my body chemistry, as after some time, the scent starts smelling plasticky on me. It really bothered me the first time I used it, but I'm more used to it now.

It's a good lotion that does its job well, but I don't like the weird-feeling residue it leaves and I'm not crazy about the scent. I got it on sale, but it is still rather pricey for a body lotion. I don't think I could wholeheartedly recommend this lotion because of its downsides, but if you're looking for some serious hydration for your body skin, this can at least provide that.
