REVIEW on Innisfree Longwear Waterproof Cushion

It's summer, which means we get lots of waterproof products.

This is one of them.

This particular product is not only good against water,

but also against sweat and sebum.

I think Innisfre only makes refill-type cushions nowadays.

Just get the case once, and you are covered for life! That sort of attitude.

The case this one is for is called My Cushion. You have to buy it separately.

I think it's good, economical and definitely helps environment.

It comes in three tones:

Light beige, natural beige, and true beige.

.

Light beige's number is 13,

Natural beige is 21

and true beige is 23.

Its size is small enough.

.

I compared it with the standard Innisfree cushion.

The left is the previous product, and the right is this one.

A bit different height,

and the inner cap's shape is noticeably changed now.

.

I tried putting it in the older Innisfree cushion case.

They are NOT compatible.

.

They just don't fit.

.

.

I tried putting the older refill product into the new My Cushion case.

Again, not compatible.

.

So it's imperative that you buy a My Cushion case for this.

Well, let's start looking at the details.

Colour test

This is immediately after applying.

Colours definitely tone down after a bit.

Keep that in mind when choosing which colour you will buy.

I lightly wiped away a bit of excess with my finger.

Now they look like what they will actually look like.

Also, it doesn't come with a powder puff of its own,

so I'm using my own.

.

I think that's the biggest gripe,

not having its own puff included in the product. =(

I tried on Light Beige.

.

It felt a bit too bright at first immediately after applying it,

but after a while, the tone died down a bit, and I'm fine with it.

.

It can cover light freckles, tiny veins and whatnot,

but not something that's highly noticeable like a spot

.

It seems to last differently depending on the skin type;

if I were to use dry skin as the standard, it's average more or less.

.

It's not exactly the killer product,

but if you are not sweatng excessively and not out in the sun often,

it does it job for the most part.
