I was actually really shocked when I used this for the first time. The title said peeling mask so I thought it was going to be one of those masks that dry like a second skin and then you just peel it off after it dries. But the consistency was clumpy and a little bit gritty. Apparently it's the cellulose in the product. But I spread quite a generous amount over my face because it's hard to be sparing with this mask since the texture makes application a bit uneven. I let it dry for the recommended 3 minutes and then I massage the mask all around my face for a bit and then wash it off. The cellulose clumps up into large masses and whilst those are rubbed around your skin, it provides a very gentle exfoliation. It's perfect for people who have sensitive skin. After using, my skin feels bright, soft and moisturized. It has a subtle yet defined effectiveness that makes me want to use it almost everyday. But the instructions say 1-2 times a week so I must wait until the next time I can use it.
