I typically buy Clinique foundations because I am very pale with very pink undertones, but I've been dying to try out cushion compacts.  This works beautifully!  Seamlessly covered all of my blemishes and smoothed out my red on my nose.  I didn't even have to build another layer or use primer.  It does have a nice demi-matte finish so my face still glows, whilst still being sheer enough to blend right into my skin and neck.  Highly recommend! Especially if you have pale red-headed skin the way I do.  I purchased the natural beige.  My only drawback is the smell.  It's not unpleasant, but it does smell almost exactly like sunscreen until it dries.  It took some getting used to.
