I chose the shade VL02, because I'm always on a hunt for that perfect violet blush. I had no doubts that it would be just that -- a true cool lilac. Well... 

Perhaps it's the yellow in my skin or the sheerness of the formula, but it looks like a cool pink. An extremely cool pink, but not violet. 

I can get it to look how I want by layering with Rom&nd Odi Milk powder blush, but then again -- what was the point of the cream then? 

Apart from that, I am very pleased with the product. It spreads like a dream with virtually no streaks or patches. And even if there is some initial unevenness, it can easily be fixed by layering (it's so sheer, you won't overdo it with 2 coats). I would say that it stays on fairly well, I haven't noticed major fading throughout the day. 

Overall, it's a solid product I would recommend to anyone who's on a liquid/cream blush kick.
