I bought this set mainly because it looked like a really good deal for three makeup items. I'm really glad I bought it because I LOVE it!
I have many eyeshadow palettes but I think this one has to be my favourite. I'm usually someone who loves glitters on my eyes but I adore how natural this looks on me. It's almost as if I have no eyeshadow on, but in the best way possible. I've never had a neutral palette look so good on my eyes, usually they're too warm toned or have a greyish cast. It gives a very natural contour and shading with minimal effort. If you want an elegant look, this eyeshadow palette is a great way to achieve that (I'm shade no.21 in all Korean base makeup, by the way, in a summer cool light tone. If your skin is darker it may not work as well, and if your skin is lighter, it will have a smokier effect rather than natural shading).
As for the eyeliners, I've only tried In the Light so far, which is a neutral medium-brown beige. This has got to be my most favourite eyeliner I've ever used, and like eyeshadows, I've used a ton of different kinds.
Eyeliner is tricky for me, as dark eyeliners look too harsh on my face. I never wear black eyeliner, for example, because it is far too harsh on my face (I have soft Asian features and my eyes do not look good with bold makeup). This eyeliner really surprised me because of how natural it looked on my eyes, both with the shade and with the thin lines it can draw. It's like an extension of my lashes-- paired with the Jane Austen eyeshadow palette, my eyes look naturally elegant and pretty, I was actually shocked. And it's strange how when I swatch the eyeliner on my wrist, the shade looks really light, but on my eyes it is dark enough there to look like my lashes, with only one or two swipes. I haven't tried In the Dark yet, but I assume it will be similar, with just a deeper shade.
I loved this set so much that I already repurchased another set and I've only been using this for about a week. The sale price is so worth it that I bought it again for future use. The eyeliner alone on other websites is like $15.
I like Dinto's aesthetic and the quality of the products is good, especially for the sale price. I do wish that the eyeshadow packaging was a bit sturdier, but I really like the quality of the shadows themselves, so I'm fine with the packaging.
Dinto seems like a promising brand, so I look forward to trying more products from them in the future (I've already bought some of their lip tints!).
