As a spot treatment on active acne, this works really well in calming down and hastening the recovery. The propolis makes the product easier on the skin, as BHA products can sometimes be too harsh on sensitive skin. However, I don't feel like it does much of a job in exfoliation, perhaps the other BHA product in cosrx's line would be better suited if you want the product to exfoliate. But as a spot treatment it does its job very well.

And yes, unfortunately, this product has a very strange and bad smell to it - so if smells are important to you, the I wouldn't recommend it to you.
