This works well to protect your lips, as it forms a thick layer over them. It has a pleasant smell of oranges, it doesn't smell like ginger. It is larger than your average lip balm (I have included the TonyMoly Peach lip balm in the photo for scale) and has a thick, slightly sticky texture. It soaks into your lips overnight but I have found it doesn't deal with dry skin on my lips as well as I'd like it to, so I often put some moisturiser underneath before putting this on. The price and quantity are good enough that it makes up for it not being quite as moisturising as I'd like.
