I bought this mask after discovering its unique (and entertaining) foaming ability on Youtube.


The product inside the jar very thick grey gel. The jar comes with a inner lid to keep air out of the product and a spatula to scoop the product out. It begins bubbling once it comes into contact with air, so remember to close the container tightly!

Applying the mask on my face.... it tickles! When I move my face I can hear the sounds of bubbles popping and the mask fizzing, like a carbonated drink. I don't recommend putting a thick layer of the mask on your top lip since once it begins to foam and bubble, it will get into your nose when you breathe. The way the mask bubbles makes my face look like a grey snowman. I'm not sure if it looks funny or kind of creepy haha. After waiting until the mask is fully foamed, I followed the instructions by pressing down the bubbles to my face (oddly satisfying!), massaging it into my face and rinsing it off.

Unlike other clay masks, this mask doesn't make your skin feel as dried out once you wash it off. My skin felt so soft and cleansed. It's quite difficult to remove the mask because of its thick, slippery consistency and it gets very messy, so I recommend using the mask in the evenings before showering. You can also remove most of the mask using a towel and then rinsing your face clean

I recommend this mask because it was very fun and enjoyable to use and I was pleased with the immediate effects of the mask.
