I tried this out the first night and it did make my skin ITCH and sting a little bit, but it fades after about 10 minutes. When you first apply it, it will seem pasty and white, but I pat it down so it blends out. When I woke up the morning after, my skin felt so much more revived from dullness and there were less "tiny bumps" and redness. Makeup also applies a lot smoother. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS AN ACID, SO MAKE SURE THAT YOU USE SUN PROTECTION EVERY DAY. (do not use this during the day time, as it is meant to be used over night time). Also, do not use other types of acids or acne treatments when using this as it will overwhelm your skin (i.e. do NOT use vitamin C when using this product at all). I would highly recommend that you try out the 5% cream first TWO times a week if it is your first time using an AHA product. Once you are more comfortable using it, it is ok to use it EVERY OTHER NIGHT (so ~3 times a week). Definitely do not get desperate and use it every night, as you will be over exfoliating and that will irritate the skin. If you are used to using glycolic AHA treatments, then maybe go for the 10% one. For sensitive skin types, please use the 5% one.
