This was a great first cleansing balm. It has never failed to remove all of my makeup at the end of the day (bb cream, concealer, blush, bronzer, waterproof mascara, liquid eyeliner, and waterproof pencil liner), and although the scent is very strong, it is refreshing and smells clean. It comes with a spatula, so you can use the product without digging your fingers into it and getting bacteria everywhere. I use a quarter-sized shallow scoop of the balm each time, and that's enough to take everything off. It takes me a while to rinse it, but that may be because I take my time washing my face to get all of the product off before I move onto my water-based cleanser. Ingredient-wise, I'm a little cautious of the mineral oil, but my skin hasn't reacted negatively yet so I will likely continue to purchase.
