I'm actually quite surprised by this product! I have so many Peripera lip products from the Ink the Velvet line, and I had to try this new product line out. The bottle is bigger than the rest of the Ink the Velvet line, and it's transparent so you can see how much product you have left. The applicator is a large doe-foot with a slight angle, and application is very easy since the tip is so large (takes me one or two swipes for my bottom lip!). The consistency of the product is between a mousse and a gel, but it does dry down to a semi-matte to matte finish. It's a lot more comfortable and non-drying than the original Ink the Velvets, and I don't even feel it on my lips when I wear it. It doesn't get into the lines of my lips or accentuate dry patches. The color that I got (#5) is a true red with a blue-base, and it's beautiful! Because this product is lighter, it doesn't last as long as the Ink the Velvets and doesn't leave much of a stain, but I really like this product and will purchase more from this line. Be careful if you don't like scents -- this smells like candy!
