I was very excited to use this cleansing foam because I heard so many good things about Innisfree cleansers.

Unlike many other cleansing foams, the first ingredient here is Glycerin (most cleansers have water listen as the first ingredient), which made me think it would be very moisturizing. The products is rather thick and you need very little of it to clean your entire face, which means that this tube would last quite a while. Plus it smells absolutely divine.

So why did I give it such a low rating?

Because it's very drying. I really thought this would be a nice moisturizing cleanser, and the ingredient list supported this assumption, but every time I use it my face feels rather dry and squeaky clean. I did some research as to why it's like this, and my theory is that it's due to high pH levels. I haven't tested the pH level of this cleanser, but I look online for pH levels of other Innisfree cleanser and most of them were 9-9.5, which is waaay too high. Your skin's pH level is around 5-5.5, and you should use products that are around this pH range. Using high pH products will cause cumulative damage (meaning that the damage increases over time, so you will not notice it right away) to your skin and will dry it out and damage its moisture barrier.

Because of this, I will not repurchase this product, I don't think I'll even finish it. I'll keep using it until I receive a low pH cleanser that I bought, and as soon as I get that one I'll throw this one away.
