I bought no.04 Vampire Red because I thought it was a unique sort of color to try out, as I usually go for rose pink and red and don’t have a lip color that is the dark, almost plum-red sort of shade that this tint is. Well… I don’t love it. I can make it work if I apply a very sheer coat of this (like how it looks in my photo), because if I apply it fully to my lips, it looks too dark and weird on me, and is somehow super unflattering on my skintone (which is fair, with neutral-olive undertones that can look yellow). I think this may look better on people with cool-toned/pink-toned skin. I don’t know why, but I just dislike the way the shade looks with the rest of my face if I apply it fully. It looks good in the photo I took, but it somehow just doesn’t work on my lips ;___; Lots of other people seem to love this shade, but I personally really dislike how it looks like on me.

It smells like grape candy and the packaging is really cute, but that are pretty much the only things I really like about this lip tint. I’ll try find ways to wear this, as it would be a waste to just toss this out. Maybe I’ll try using it as a cheek tint like how another reviewer said. The staying power is decent, it stains the lips quite well but can be a little drying. For about $5 this is not a bad lip tint, it performs decently, but the shade just isn’t really my thing. Maybe the other shades will be better.
