I previously used DIY vitamin C serums and ones from amazon, which felt like water on the face, which was quite nice. I was surprised this is thicker, and stickier. It does feel sticky when you're waiting 20 minutes after using, but I like it, it feels less drying than the others I have used. Vitamin C helps with my active pimples, pimple scars.. I went about 6 months without using one, and in those 6 months, I got deep scars from acne. I feel vitamin C really prevents your acne from scarring badly, I regret not using one. I was reluctant because they're used up so quickly, and it can get expensive. The DIY version didn't suit my skin (i was making it wrong i guess) bu now I see it's a required expensive for me.

In the 2 weeks of re-introducing vitamin c, i've seen fading of coloured scars. Nothing to report on the dents and deep scars but I'm hopeful my tretanoin + vitamin c will do good to them over time.
