This cream has a gel like texture that feels doesn't feel heavy upon application. A little goes a long way with this cream so maybe scoop out like a pea sized amount with the spatula it comes with. I do like this cream but I think on hotter days it still feels like too much (I have oily skin btw). Another thing to note is that it does have a scent which I like but others might not, it smells like tangerines (?) or just citrus-y but it doesn't linger.
