I think the mist is very practical, but the spray range is very wide so a lot gets into my hair and also I have to spray several times to get an even layer on my face. I usually tap it in with my hands, but I think it´s still more practical than usuall application. To the essence itself, it doesn´t feel heavy, could be layered and is very hydrating. I didn´t notice any difference in my skin in longterm though.
