I loved the original Iope XP cushion, but now that it is getting humid outside, the finish just hasn't been lasting long enough. I also felt that although shade #21 blended into my skintone somewhat, it just was a little too dark for me, so imagine my excitement to see this version come in shade #13!!!  This is the perfect shade, I only wish that they would offer the intense cover version in this shade as well.  Anyway, the finish is just right for my skin (I have naturally dry-normal skin) for the summer months.  It isn't exactly a true matte finish, so it's not too drying, I would call it more of a satin type finish.  It's definitely not as dewy as the original, but I wouldn't call it exactly matte.  The coverage is about light-medium (similar to the original). I think this cushion is really the best of both worlds, but of course this could vary depending on your skin type.  I'm looking forward to using this for the summer months ahead!
