You get 4 pairs of gloves in this resealable bag, and each pair is oversized with a piece of tape at the wrist so you can secure them on your hands. The outside of the glove is plastic so you can still touch things with them on, and the inside of the gloves has a fabric-like material coated in a creamy emulsion. The emulsion has no scent and did moisturize my hands very well, but my fingers were very wrinkled and pruney afterwards. The gloves heated up slowly, but I found that the heat was concentrated at the back of my hand and got a bit intense so I took the gloves off a few minutes early from the recommended 15-20 minute time period. Even after the gloves were off, the burning sensation remained. My hands are really sensitive to heat though, and my skin has no sign of burns (it's not even red), so I think it might just be me. Good product but not for me!
