Overall, it did accomplish what I wanted, which was to prevent getting flakey skin. There was a period where I got lazy with my routine and skipped the serum and noticed that I got a couple of dry patches which cleared up once I started using it again.  It almost feels a bit velvety, kind of like a primer, after applying and patting it into my skin.  Only negative is that at times, it feels like product is balling up on my hands when I'm applying moisturizer (which is currently Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion) afterwards. Whether it's because of the serum or the lotion, I haven't been able to figure it out. I will also say that I really like the packaging; while the bottle is frosted you can still see how much product is left and it's a nice weight.

As I can't really compare it to any other serum, I will say that while it this did it's job, I'm definitely going to look at other serums before repurchasing.
