This product feels really thick when you try to pick it up with the spatula but it becomes a bit thinner when you actually put it on your fingers. The texture is quite nice and the cream glides over the skin easily. I find that it does help lock in moisture overnight and I don't need to follow up with a sleeping pack in the summer. The weather is getting more dry lately so I think I might have to add the sleeping pack back in. I just have extremely dry skin to start with though. I think this cream should be enough for most people. The scent is nice but it's much too strong for my sensitive nose. I probably would re-buy it for that reason.
