Hello everyone! Today I will be reviewing Etude House's Ice Tint Balm in Tangerine Shower.
Shipping:
The
package arrived quicker than expected in about 15 business days. In my
box, all the items were wrapped individually in bubble wrap. The package
came with a lot of free samples compared to how many things I ordered!
Feel:
It is an orange solid lip tint that comes in a twistable tube. When applied to the lips, it goes on very smoothly. When first applied, it feels very moist as if it has a high water content. It soon dries and produces a matte surface that is very natural looking, but not drying.
Effect:
I love this tint! It gives a vibrant colour that is buildable. If you apply one layer, it looks very natural. If you apply two, it looks like you're wearing a lip tint. If you apply three, it looks like you're wearing a vibrant lipstick. It is matte without drying and goes on extremely smoothing. It's not drying like tint liquids. I like to combine this with a chapstick when I have dry lips in the winter or a with gloss to give it extra shine, as it is very matte.
Last:
If I don't eat or drink or I reapply it after doing so, this product will last all day. If I want to keep the intensity, I will reapply once or twice throughout the day.
Smell:
It smells just like sweet tangerines. The smell in the tube and when it first goes on is intense, but when it dries the smell dissipates.
Pro:
Not drying, buildable colour, intense colour, very smooth, good smell, natural look, matte, can work on dry lips with chapstick applied first
Con:
Matte but can be combined with chapstick or gloss, will definitely be drying if you already have dry lips, colour is buildable and will not pop with one application
