I first bought this cushion when it was included in the A Concept special makeup set, and now I’ve repurchased it individually.

This is currently my HG base makeup product, for many reasons. For one, this cushion foundation has THE best color match I’ve ever had in ANY foundation—including western, Korean, and Japanese brands. My skin color is a bit tricky to match well, but this does it so perfectly. I use the shade no.21, and it actually has enough yellow undertones, and no weird grey or pink tones, to make it actually look like my skin (I’m between a MAC NC15-NC20, with neutral/golden undertones… hard to explain). This cushion also brightens up my complexion naturally, and makes my skin look luminous. It stays the same color the entire day and does not oxidize or wear off patchily, it looks the same literally the whole day for me, without using any setting powder. If anything, this gets a bit dewier as the day goes on, but it doesn’t get too oily on me at all. 

I have gotten many compliments on my skin when I wear this. It covers naturally and makes my skin look flawless. I don’t think it has a ton of coverage, so if that is what you’re looking for, this may not work for you.

To me, this is nearly a perfect foundation for me. I even like it better than the Sulwhasoo cushion I own that costs way more than this. The color is perfect, the staying power is great, the price is relatively inexpensive and the compact design is really nice (it has a slot where you can put in a lipstick or concealer stick from A Concept in so you can bring it along with you). However, there are a few things that I wish could be changed with this. One is I wish the compact is made a little sturdier—though it functions well and doesn’t feel like it should break anytime soon, it does feel a little wobbly and a tad flimsy. The second thing I wish could be changed with this is that if the content can be increased—it holds 10g of product when the standard for cushions is 15g… standard cushion refills run out quite fast, so this runs out even faster. I think I can only get a few short weeks of daily use out of this.

I will keep repurchasing this as long as I don’t find anything better for my skin. I seriously have about 7 refills of this (stocked up when it went on sale). Highly recommend this cushion :)
