This is a unusual mascara that has thin shreds of paper through out it. These shreds work in absorbing excess product so your mascara is never applied with clumps. They didn’t get in the way at all and if one shred got stuck in your eyelashes one swipe and the wand would just pick it up. It gives a very natural finish, curls my eyelashes beautifully, did not irritate my eyes at all. They are a tubing mascara, it washes off with warm water not oil. Unfortunately they did smudge slightly, but I haven’t had any mascara not smudge on me, even waterproof ones.
