The name of this product makes it sound like it would be astringent and drying. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. This product is hydrating and soothing, with one-two punch of aloe and salicylic acid calming any inflammation. It also contains glycerin, sodium hyaluronate, beta-glucan, and snail for hydration. This toner has helped get rid everything from acne to eczema for me. The product is cloudy in the bottle and has a very slight aloe scent. Even though it has BHA in the name, it is NOT a chemical exfoliator, nor would it work as a pH-adjusting toner because of the hydrating elements. I would recommend this product for anyone with dry, acneic, sensitive, or irritated skin.
