The balm can feel a bit powdery when rubbed together, but if you rub it while applying a lot of pressure, it'll feel smooth and blend into your skin. Just use it on any problem areas and it will leave it feeling smooth and velvety. It doesn't make your pores disappear, they are still visible but they are filled up. It contains silicon so I have to double cleanse every time I use this
