Skin type: normal, dehydrated. Tends to be partly oily in hot&dry summer, and severely dehydrated&dry in our windy winter with harsh seasonal heating. Skin has under the skin pimples in particular time of month due to hormonal changes.

Consistency: True gel, it's just a little bit watery when you apply it.

Scent: Info says that fragrance note of this line is GREEN - FLORAL. It's true, it's gentle and I like it. Aroma is lightweight and barely perceptible. It doesn't linger on skin.

Absorption: soaks in quickly and without any stickiness. I let it being absorbed fully before next step, so all layers of skincare soaks in in a right way.

Overall: I think it's a nice basic toner, moisturizing, but sometimes not enough. If you use it solo though, you might find you need 1 or 2 more layers (like me after drying clay mask). Ofc it also depends on what type of skin you have. I read feedbacks that it's enough even without moisturizer for combination skin. Well, I feel like in general my skin is hydrated for a toner step. It also calmes my stimulated skin a little.
PS. I bought it with SAEM Harakeke Foam, Harakeke Ampoule and Harakeke Emulsion together to feel fully moisturizing effect. So, skin was completly dehydrated, and the first time I used them all, I haven't let them being absorbed fully, and layered it on slightly wet skin. It became wonderfully saturated with moisture and it was so pleasant to touch it! I felt how velvety and soft, truly hydrated, nourished and vitalized it was. Then, a little while later I found when I apply it this way - layering on slightly wet skin, it may leave a little greasy shine, and I'm sure now it was because of I didn't let products being absorbed fully before next steps. Few days later, when I used it in a different way (waited for full absorption till next step), I found that I need more moisture, even though I used all of those I bought. So, as for me, especially now in winter I'd definately prefer something moisturazing atop of it in addition. I guess it really depends on air condition (harsh seasonal heating or dry and cold weather, for example).
