It has a thicker texture, kind of gel-like--the same as what is left in the package after a sheet mask. The serum itself is fine, I think it may be helping to fade some marks and brighten my skin, but I think the ampoule step in general is maybe a bit excessive for my current routine. I'll probably use this bottle up, but I don't think I'd really repurchase this product or any other ampoule again in the future.
