I have tried so many brands of western and Asian lipsticks, and the only kind that don't smudge on me are liquid lipsticks, which are too matte and drying. I am so glad I bought this lipstick on a whim. The description on the tube is "a lipstick that instantly covers your lips with a clear color and without a heavy feeling," and it's spot on. This lipstick is pigmented and long-lasting but not drying in the least. One coat gives total cover, although it's easy to blend out for an ombre effect if you want. It's not as creamy as other lipsticks, so I've found dabbing it on to be the best way to apply. The scent is very light and it smells like real fruit. It dissipates quickly. It dries to a matte finish, but not unnaturally super-matte like so many western lip products. It's more like the natural texture of your lips. And this stuff stays. It never smudges outside of the line I draw. Even when I eat it stays in place. The packaging is simple and sleek. The tube is a matte cream color with the shade of the lipstick peeking out from the bottom. It clicks closed satisfyingly and feels secure enough to throw in a purse. I already have two and I will definitely be buying more.
#7 is a light pink. It comes across a little peachy on me rather than a true nude. Maybe it's because I'm pale. This can be a little patchy because it's so light. I think this a shade that I'll use a lot during the spring.
#9 is a marsala color. It's a muted brick red that I think will look good on yellow-based skintones. This color was very trendy last year and I'm getting a lot of use out of it this winter. It's not patchy at all and covers evenly and beautifully.
