The scrub itself smells like mint-choc chip ice cream. When I put the scrub on, it feels buttery and soft. Scrubbing my lips with this doesn't irritate them! Afterwards, they are soft and smooth. Overall this is a great lip scrub, good value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it.
