From my experiences with this eye cream, it does whiten the area with what looks like tiny light reflective particles in the serum, the texture is lotiony and non oily. However, on my quest for a good eye serum/cream, this will not be repurchased. Why? Firstly, it does leave an annoying tint, if you're using this in the morning, expect a shiny tint, it is not mattifying. Secondly, for my needs, it just doesn't do it for me, i have very dark circles under my eyes, and have found i am better off using eye patches in the morning. In comparison to the mizon snail eye cream, this is FAR better. The snail cream stings my eyeballs if it goes near and doesn't do much. This is better than the mizon.
